So happy new year to everyone! 2009 started off well for us. Like I'm sure most new parents do, we spend New Year's Eve on the couch willing the new year to come quickly so we could get to bed. Which we did, at exactly 12:05AM. And let the record show this is the first time ever in this household that champagne was thrown away.
Since '09 rolled in, we're had lots of new fun things happen with the boys. Some of these started in '08, but this blog will only be catchy if I lump them all in here:
Peekaboo! Grady loves himself a game of peekaboo, and lately he's really enjoyed initiating. He's absolutely adorable and giggles the entire time. It's magic how mummum and dada just disappear when you lift your arms!
Crawling & Pulling up! We're on the move, people! Cole is really, really fast and is loving his newfound independence. Madam and Elvis are not loving it, and haven't been chased around like this since ...well, never.
NO! Grady has been shaking his head "no" for a few months, but Cole has decided to join in. His shake is much more vigorous, and he tends to throw his whole body into the act just for extra effort. He seems to enjoy it most when given a food item he doesn't like.
This face: I'm not sure what this is all about. Grady now "smiles" at the camera, but he's really just scrunching his nose and opening his mouth really big. Look how cute his two lower teeth are, though.
