That time of year

Or, as Scott would say, the most wonderful time of the year. We all knew it was coming. In fact, we've been scouring the sale ads for good deals in preparation.

 And then, as quickly as it started, summer ended and Aunt Karen sent these three back to school. Technically she sent two back, and one for the first time. Our little Rhett is off to Kindergarten! From the size of his grin you might guess that he's really excited.

Karen will tell you that each kid has a "usual" smile they give when a picture is being taken, and the kids' respective smiles are indeed captured in this picture too. Greg=not thrilled about this, Rhett=VERY thrilled about this, and Sara=always cute.

How cute is it that Rhett's backpack is almost as big as he is? And Keith and I were wondering how long it took Sara to pick her outfit. She's quite opinionated on the subject of fashion. And did Greg grow a whole foot this summer?
