And so we found ourselves completely not packed Wednesday morning. But, we do like to just roll with it, and since we've done a few vacations all together, we knew what needed to get packed and in which containers and suitcases the various things needed to go. Since only our alarm clock had woken up at this point, I started packing while we let the tv babysit him.
Our goal was to hit the road by 9am, and we beat that goal by 20 or so minutes. Parental fist pump!
The ride was mercifully uneventful. Lots of movies were watched and many a snack were had. And many a peepee stops were taken. But the 8 hours just flew by, and next thing we knew we had arrived at our hotel.
We had a great time in the pool (no pictures at the pool, but check out our new bathing suits above) and enjoyed some snacks at happy hour (no pictures, but see how crazy the snacks and juice made us below).
and had a milkshake with dinner. To my knowledge, this was the boys' first milkshake. They liked it. A few pics from dinner. This was a very quick dinner as there were no naps taken and we were all very tired. Our poor little waiter seemed very nervous around us, as if he knew there was a meltdown waiting to happen.
We were all in bed by 9:15, resting up for the first big day at Disney!
