Sara's Birthday, Part II

Sara is a girl after my own heart and loved to change her mind about what color she loves the most. For now. Last year it was pink, pink, pink. Now she's loving purple. She has asked her mom to change the paint color in her room from pink to purple [request denied] which reminds me a lot of the hounding I subject Keith to once/twice/thrice a year about wanting to paint a room a different color. Again. Our creativity cannot be stifled with just one color, people!

Anyway, I present Sara and her purple cake. Karen also shared pictures of the purple birthday decor she put up for the birthday girl, but alas, I cannot find that picture.
Sara, like her brother last week, scored some loot, and wanted to go spend it. She ended up buying some Webkins. Whatever the hell those are. Keith speculates that they are like modern day Beanie Babies? Someone needs to teach me. Maybe Sara will. Help Aunt Trudi get smarter, girlie.
And then family dinner at the birthday favorite Japanese steakhouse place. Karen even managed to capture the elusive Scott in a picture. A birthday miracle!
Looks like the birthday girl had a great day. And if you were wondering, she turned 7. She's 7, going on 14.

We possibly have a weekend trip to see these three and their parents in a few weeks, and I cannot wait. They make me laugh.
