Soccer

We are now sort of playing soccer. Sort of playing, and it is sort of soccer. Our neighborhood has a soccer group for older kids, and every Friday they are gracious enough to let our wee ones use the balls and nets to play a little. Our boys are kicking the ball a bit, and are having a great time, but some of the soccer playing looks like this. Standing and staring. And holding the ball. I'm no soccer expert but I think using the hands is bad. Unless you're the goalie and you're throwing it in or something, and even then only one person holds the ball. Check out the sassy outfit Mena insisted on wearing to practice. I don't know if this is her way of distracting her opponents, or if she's trying to tell her parents she's not interested and running and getting dirty. Either way, she's cute.
